Olde World Doors
Antique, Imported, Double Entry Doors, circa mid-late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Each set of elegant doors is truly unique in style, size and age.
Each door unit is double entry, and heights range from 8′ to 14′. Widths of the doors vary from 46” to 12′. Many have ironwork on the exterior with opening glass panels on the interior side. All doors are unique, but occasionally two or more sets of identical doors (excluding natural distress) become available. Uses include entry doors, room dividers, screens, wall decorations, backdrops, wall beds, armoires, or other custom furniture creations. They can be mounted with hinges, on rails, or custom to your specifications. Original hardware is found on many of the doors. Doors can be ordered in “original, imported” condition, or completely re-finished to your specifications, including weather-proofing for exterior use. Doors are also available with or without the door jam.

Ray and Brenda Reed established Reed Design in 1995. Original designs included “Olde World” Santas and Angels hand crafted by Brenda and marketed though world trade markets nationwide. Imported, antique, European and Middle Eastern doors were added by Ray as a compliment to the collection in the traditional “Olde World” style.

All custom designed furniture pieces follow the “Olde World” theme and can be manufactured to your specifications. All pieces feature quality, excellence, and unique finishes to compliment the Reed Design Group Collection.

All Reed Design Group furniture is handcrafted, with most pieces being manufactured to customer specifications. No custom request idea for furniture is rejected.
Following the “Olde World” theme, Reed Design Group delivers furniture (mostly custom) in countless categories. All customer ideas and requests are considered. In addition to our furniture units and examples showcased on this website, our deliverables also include modifications to existing furniture whereby finish, style, woodwork detail and precision duplication crafting can be provided. For example, you might own an antique, family heirloom full size bed that you wish to convert to a king size bed, or an antique dinning room table that seats six and you wish it expanded to seat ten. Or, simply stated, you may have one of something and you now need two… Whatever your custom furniture need, email us a photograph or sketch and we can begin dialogue on your project/requirement.
